We started a club at yahoo this month. Anyone is free to join and post messages. There is also a chat 
room and a links section. Great place to post info or find out about new "get paid online" type 
services. You can also tell people about your website and exchange tips and ideas about getting paid 
to be online.

-Pay By Hour Services-

It's been another good month for "pay to surf" services. As most of you know, AllAdvantage sent out 
checks this month. The average check was around $48 and some members made over $5000. GoToWorld 
said that they would be sending checks this month but we haven't seen one yet. Hopefully we'll get 
one in early October. Speaking of which, October looks like it's going to be an even better month 
for these kinds of services. ePIPO, Utopiad, Surfing2Cash and ValuePay all plan to have their 
software out by the end of October. Desktop Dollars already has their ProfitZONE software out.

Here are the "by hour" services that have come out since the last NewsList:

ItAdsUp             (September 23rd) - Looks like a good one, we recommend it.

SurfAD              (September 24th) - Not so good, in fact we haven't even gotten around to 
reviewing it yet, we'll let you know.

DollarWeb           (September 25th) - The page is in French, we'll give you more info when we find 
someone to translate.

SaveBySurf          (September 27th) - A good new German company, we did find someone to translate this one.

AdOne               (September 27th) - Another German company, not really worth it unless they change things.

Note: Both German companies actually came out earlier in the month, we were just waiting to get them 
translated.

-Pay By Email Services-

SendMoreInfo announced this month that they are planning to start sending out at least five times as 
many paid emails by the end of October or so. That's about all the news we have for "pay to read" 
services. We feel very inadequate about this.

There were some new ones this month, here they are:

NetBiz          (September 15th) - A lot like SendMoreInfo, a little more time consuming though.

Trespass.net    (September 15th) - This company actually pays you to use their free online email 
service. Referral program too.

Added a new service called Universal Science to the Credits/Surveys/Games page since the last list. 
Universal Science is actually a kind of "pay to surf" program because they pay you for visiting 
certain websites but their program is just overly complex enough to put it in the "other" category.

No interesting new associate/affiliate programs. If you don't like it, try to keep in mind that our 
daddy can beat up your daddy.

REFERRAL TIPS

You'll notice that these are pretty much the same tips as the last issue, they're for new members.

How do you get more referrals for the services that offer referral programs, without spamming? Well, 
first of all, you could try spamming. You probably won't get caught. We really don't recommend it 
because it is one of the more annoying things on the internet and the response rate is somewhere 
under 1%.

1) The first thing you should do is email everyone you know that won't get upset by the offer. Seems 
pretty straight forward but we thought we'd mention it because a lot of people haven't done it yet. 
The other reason we mention it is because you can now tell them that, no, these services are 
definitely not a scam. Now we've got proof that a few of the "By Hour" and a lot of the "By Email" 
services have actually started to pay people. Also, don't forget ICQ/AOL Instant Messenger/Yahoo 
Messenger/ MSN Messenger. Might we suggest ICQs random chat feature?

2) Whatever you do, do it soon. There are literally 100s of 1000s of people a day signing up for 
these kinds of services.

3) Make a webpage. It's amazingly easy and it's a good place to send people who want to sign up. 
We'll be happy to help you with your page. You can find info about our free webpage offer for some of 
the "By Hour" services on our site.

4) Promote your webpage. Submit it to the 15-20 major search engines, there are lots of free pages 
online that you can use to do this automatically. Put your url in your email signature. Tell 
everyone. Join a service like the Click-Thru Network and possibly a link exchange service of some

5) If you can do it inexpensively, get the word out offline. The people that don't know about these 
services yet are people that have computers but don't spend a lot of time surfing the internet. We 
have a feeling they would if they knew they were getting paid for it.

6) If you're thinking of putting some money into this, we suggest advertising through an opt-in 
mailing list. If you find the right list the response rate is very good, it should be fairly 
inexpensive and you won't piss anyone off.

7) Don't take anything too seriously. We think this is the number one problem in America today. We 
have done extensive studies which prove that taking things too seriously causes just about everything 
bad, including cancer. We also have evidence that suggests that it's responsible for the common cold.
