We recently ran a poll to find out what people thought of our new logo. The results were good... 
52% liked it, 16% didn't. The most interesting result was that 26% of respondents answered: "I am 
a pony." This represents a much higher pony percentage among our visitors than we had previously 
estimated.

The remaining 6% of respondents had no answer or chose: "Free money offends me. I hate you, your 
site, and everything it stands for."

~GoTo Update~
GoTo is one of the top ten search engines online and offers one of the best (and least expensive) 
sources of advertising on the net. Members bid on search terms and then pay only for actual 
visitors to their site... Bids start at $.02/visitor.

If you've been thinking of using some kind of paid advertising, GoTo is probably the best option. 
You can get 100's or 1000's of visitors a month for $10 or $15. 

The reason I'm telling you all of this is that right now GoTo is offering new members $10 in 
advertising credit for signing up and $25 in advertising credit for each referral. (Offer ends 
October 31st.)

-Pay By Hour Services-

It hasn't been the greatest of months for paid surfing. A couple of companies have lowered rates. 
(CashSurfers and ClickDough included.)

Jotter and Spedia are now the highest paying companies at $.50 and $.60/hour respectively. 
(Spedia is much harder than Jotter to keep active, however, because of their new Surfing Usage 
Factor algorithm.)

Paid surfing news since last issue: (oldest first)
~AllAdvantage started their WOW program.
~mValue is now SweepSurf and doesn't have much of a referral program.
~SurfingPrizes is gone.
~CashSurfers most recent rates are around $.15/hour for US members.
~ePIPO rates are at $.35/hour.
~Spedia has raised rates to $.60/hour but now uses an algorithm to calculate members time which 
will cut down on hours.
~PayPile rates were raised to $.20/hour plus $.10/hour for referrals.

Here are the "by hour" services that have come out since the last NewsList:

Ad-Viewers    (September 10th) - ClickDough like. Nothing special.
GoldenChannel (September 15th) - Poor design but everything works.

There were a couple of others but aren't worth the time it takes to load their pages.

Things are as good as ever in the paid email, paid visiting, paid searching, paid starting and 
other miscellaneous sections.

News since last issue:
~The goZing free pager promotion is now over. Pay program still in effect.
~VirtuAds left the earthly realm in a bright flash of light and dollar signs.
~X.com and PayPal plan to be international by October.
~SendMoreInfo is merging with CashMagic.
~InfoRocket referral program is back. One of the best on the net.
~OnlineChoice is paying double for referrals. Offer lasts for the next 25,000 members.

New services since last issue:

FarmBid      (September 2nd) - $5 to sign up and $10/referral.
GAC          (September 5th) - Paid artificial intelligence creation.
MileSpree    (September 9th) - Free airline miles.
PayTree      (September 12th) - Fee based referral program. Looks good.
MailClicker  (September 13th) - Paid email.
CashIC       (September 15th) - Paid visiting from Israel.
Mail4Europe  (September 19th) - Paid email. Ugly site, great referral program.
ExchangePath (September 20th) - PayPal like. $10 to sign up and $5/referral.

NetBiz... These guys have been paying for a long time. They send more paid emails than most.

InfoRocket... Get paid $10 for every referral and $5 for everyone your referrals refer. Very 
impressive and still going after all this time.

ProPay... A lot like PayPal but aimed more at online business. $10/referral.

OnlineChoice... $10/referral for a limited time.

ePilot... One of the best paid visiting/search programs around. $5 for signing up.

Ignifuge... Get paid to set your start page plus multiple levels of referrals. Doesn't get any 
easier.

Win4Win... A must for all webmasters. Very low cost paid search listings, 10% commission on 
hosted search box plus 2 levels of referral and $2 for first and second level referrals who sign 
up for website promotion.

The following are interesting answers we've received to the question: "What are your feelings on 
sexual harassment and how it relates to global warming" found on the ezine subscription page.

~Remember what Adam wore when Eve wore a fig leaf? He wore a hole in it. Now it's a hole in the 
ozone layer.

We're all adults here, we all know what the O-Zone really is, right? The layer is clearly today's

that short skirts are the worlds leading cause of sexual harassment. As far as we know this is 
the first conclusive study to be published about this issue.
