Here's the GoTo promotion again for anyone that missed it last month...

~GoTo Update~
GoTo is one of the top ten search engines online and offers possibly the best (and least 
expensive) sources of advertising on the net. Members bid on search terms and then pay only for 
actual visitors to their site... Bids start at $.02/visitor.

If you've been thinking of using some kind of paid advertising, GoTo is probably the best option. 
You can get 100's or 1000's of visitors a month for $10 or $15. 

The reason I'm telling you all of this is that right now GoTo is offering new members $10 in 
advertising credit for signing up and $25 in advertising credit for each referral. (Offer ends 
October 31st.)

As pretty much everyone knows, both Jotter and mValue are gone. A lot of people are pissed about 
this (understandably since some were still owed money). One thing a lot of people are missing, 
however, is that there are currently far too many paid surfing companies for even an advertising 
market as big as the internet to support. It's been this way for some time.

mValue and Jotter won't be the last companies to go under but, once the dust settles (to use an 
outdated and fairly unwitty simile), the companies that are left should have a far easier time 
finding advertisers.

Paid surfing news since last issue: (oldest first)
~QuikDough's website went online.
~QuikDough's website went offline.
~SAFLINK bought Jotter and discontinued the paid surfing program.
~ClickDough is now accepting check requests from international members.
~CashActive started paying.
~Spedia partnered with About.com. The About/Spedia service pays $1/hour.
~PayBar rates are now at $.072/hour. (Good by PayBar standards.)
~ClickDough and About.com partnership in the works.
~Surfing2Cash partnered with bankruptcy.
~CashSurfers is now paying international members $.14/hour.
~mValue/Sweepsurf's investors backed out. No soup for them.
~BigHourGlass relaunched.
~YellowBubble launched.
~OneSRC redesigned their service. Now paying for 5 levels of referrals.
~QuikDough really did launch this time.
~Rumors that ePIPO will start paying internationally by Nov 11th.

About/Spedia (October 1st) - Identical to regular Spedia program with slightly higher rates
WinBe        (October 8th) - French paid surfing returns.

BigHourGlass (October 9th) - Looks pretty good so far.
QuikDough    (October 9th) - Great new company from ClickRebates and QuikInternet
NewayCash    (October 11th) - Hong Kong paid surfing.

As usual, things are steadily improving with companies outside of paid surfing...

~NetFlip has discontinued their referral program. Members will still get paid for previous 
referrals.
~Total-Email partnered with YesMail. More paid emails on the way.
~First round of Skiddily checks went out. Great company.
~ProPay $10/referral program ends on the 15th.
~MailMint started sending paid emails.
~LottoForever is now paying.
~MintMail started sending paid emails. (No relation to MailMint)
~SurveySavvy is running a new referral promo. $100 to 20 members who refer 5 or more.
~MoneyMessage launched. Great software.
~PeoplePond is giving $100 to every 500th new member plus $30 for their referrer.
~FreeInternetIncome review is back.
~The mauve Cocker Spaniel crows at 2:30 on Thursday.
