July has been a pretty good month for getting paid to be online... Checks outweighed 
disappointments for just about everyone.

Paid surfing has slowed down a bit but that had to happen eventually. We only need so many of 
them. Paid email, on the other hand has started growing again. Probably has something to do with 
the fact that the fastest growing section of online advertising right now is opt in email.

All in all, free money is as much fun as ever.

Some of you may have noticed that the message board was down for a week or so. It went back 
online on the 19th. Take a look here:

-Pay By Hour Services-

July has been a strange month for paid surfing... Check delays ended with AllAdvantage but 
continued with mValue. Rates dropped at DesktopDollars but went up in a big way at CashSurfers 
(unless you're an international member.) At lot of small companies disappeared but a lot of 
others that had previously been invisible blinked back into the material realm.

The only really bad news this month has been the rumor that mValue is going to overhaul their 
service for the worse. No confirmation from them on this but they are planning an announcement 
for July 31st/August 1st. 

Paid surfing news since last issue: (oldest first)
~WebBullion is back online. New rates are $.15/hour. No max surfing time.
~Vi-Direct now pays for referrals time regardless of personal time.
~Cywell released software demo.
~Surfing2Cash redesigned their site and released a new version of their software. 
~CoolWallStreet disappeared.
~CoolWallStreet reappeared. The time off didn't seem to help much.
~Shareout died but has a resurrection planned for Fall, 2000.
~CashMeter redesigned their site and is now showing signs of life.
~AllCommunity released their paying software to a small group of members.
~Aaruka improved a bit.
~BePaid software is available to all members.
~ePilot went international.
~Spedia is our daddy.
~CashSurfers new rates for US and Canada are almost $.18/hour, unlimited hours.
~CashSurfers new rates for most international members are $.085/hour, unlimited.
~Opinion released full version of their software.

Everything is looking better than ever in the 'there is life outside of paid surfing' sections. 
Even if paid surfing were to suddenly cease to exist, there would still be plenty of free money 
to go around.

News since last issue:
~Ignifuge made February payments available.
~EmailOurWay is now sending paid emails.
~Paid email quantity went up at almost every company.
~TotalE-mail's has raised rates and is sending more paid emails.
~AddBonus is now sending paid emails.
~Virtuads is beta testing.
~Lots of conjecture about ClickyCash being a scam.
~New info straight from ClickyCash suggests that they are not a scam.
~More new info comes in that further confuses the issue.
~The Get Paid to be Online Page resolves to maintain absolutely no opinion about ClickyCash.
~QuickClickCash is back and, despite the name, is looking very good.
~VirtualStartPage now has a paid surfing program.
~OpinionBar's paying software is now available to all members

New services since last issue:

CashGlow  (July 5th) - Paid voice chatting.
PowerClick  (July 9th) - Paid visiting. Not too shabby.
CashRing  (July 11th) - $5 to sign up and $5/referral. 
MarkDown  (July 17th) - Paid email.
ClickyCash  (July 18th) - Infamous paid visiting.
ShopVault  (July 21st) - Paid visiting with nowhere to visit.

to mention that you don't have to actually read the emails to get paid.

NetBiz... These guys have been paying for a long time. They send more paid emails than most.

TotalE-mail... Older company that has recently increased rates and paid email volume.

InfoRocket... Get paid $10 for every referral and $5 for everyone your referrals refer. Very 
impressive and still going after all this time.

AmnesiaMemory... $5 to sign up and $5/referral.

CashRing... $5 to sign up, $5/referral (until July 31st) and 5% of referrals affiliate commissions.

-Miscellaneous-

Adsenger... Similar to BePaid but much better.

Ignifuge... Get paid to set your start page plus multiple levels of referrals. Doesn't get any 
easier.

Win4Win... A must for all webmasters. Very low cost paid search listings, 10% commission on hosted 
search box plus 2 levels of referral and $2 for first and second level referrals who sign up for 
website promotion.
