Hello get paid people. Welcome to July. Hope you're feeling independent.

There have been a couple additions to The Get Paid to be Online Page since the last issue...

First, the entire site is now searchable:

Second, we've added a message board. It's only been up for a few days but it's starting to catch 
on. Use it to talk about anything that makes you happy and to ask questions about the 'get paid' 
world:

And a great free service for you... Service from a fellow 'get paid' site that allows you to 
submit multiple websites and will then give you a url that you can use as your start/home page in 
Internet Explorer and Netscape. This url will randomly choose from the list you submitted whenever 
your browser loads and/or you press the 'Home' button. The uses are obvious, especially if you're 
a member of more than one paid start page company.

Thought about adding this service to The Get Paid to be Online Page but decided that the creator

-Pay By Hour Services-

AllAdvantages max hour changes lost them some members over the last couple of weeks but most 
members seem to be aware of the fact that 15 hours of free money each month is still 15 hours of 
free money each month :-)

The biggest paid surfing announcement is that ePIPO has finally released their software to all US 
members. Looks like they'll be paying everyone by the end of July but that's not confirmed. This 
kinda kills the rumor that they were dead (and a scam.)

I find it kinda humorous how quick people are to call anything and everything on the internet a 
scam. It's true that a lot of the paid surfing companies are run by idiots but scams and 
stupidity are two different things. Scams are almost always obvious, no reason to fear them if 
you're paying attention. So far, out of almost 100 companies, there has only been one scam in the 
paid surfing world: RockSurfer. Even that was only a ploy to get passwords and email addresses. 
Did no real damage.

Paid surfing news since last issue: (oldest first)
~mValue released a new version of their software. Happily, this version does not appear to want 
to kill your computer.
~OneSRC released version 2.0 of their software.
~ClickDough announced that international members can request checks starting July 15th.
~mValue launched their MExchange program. Members can now sell their personal info to 
advertisers. (This isn't really new... getting paid to sell yourself was actually invented quite 
some time ago.)
~ClickDough members that complete their user profile now get a permanent rate of $.20/hour or 
higher.
~New Jotter software out.
~UtopiAD members can now get paid via PayPal.
~Elabh is running a cash for referrals promotion.
~Cast-Net software is out.
~Vi-Direct says that they're now paying all members.
~Something purple blueshifted.

CashMeter     (June 25th) - Nothing to write home about.
BearcatOnline (June 29th) - Don't grab your pen for this one either.

-Other Services-

The biggest news item here is that Ignifuge is now paying. Once again, so much for everyone who 
thought they were a scam. They haven't caught up on all the back pay yet but members can request 
payment for the first three months (Ignifuge launched in December or November, 1999.)

The rush of new companies over the last few months has slowed down some. That's ok, though, we 
now have over 240 reviews which should be enough to keep anyone in free money for quite some time.

News since last issue:
~PurchaseAlert is now sending paid emails.
~VirtualStartPage improved their service in quite a few ways.
~NetFlip now has a 'paid sign up' service.
~Adsenger distributed some paid ads to beta testers.
~BigReferral changed their name to ShopDog and proceed to become thorougly uninteresting. Their 
review has been removed.
~Pay4Mail announced that they'd be sending paid emails by the 26th.
~The never actually sent any.
~HTMail now has an account stats section for members.
~CashWars is upgrading their servers. Looking good.
~Adsenger should be releasing the paying version of their software this month. Great company.

New services since last issue:

GossipAsia       (June 12th) - Older company with new paid clicking program.
SpamAndChips     (June 16th) - UK paid email.
SearchCactus     (June 16th) - Good new paid searching company.
Lunartic         (June 17th) - Paid email. $10 to sign up.
EmailThatCounts  (June 19th) - Already sending paid emails but nothing special.
MyRewards        (June 24th) - $3/referral + $2 for indirects.
GetPaidBig       (June 25th) - Another good looking paid searching company.
PowerDime        (June 26th) - Get paid for a little of everything.
GuessAgain       (June 28th) - Little paid game service.
Soundom          (June 30th) - Paid listening. Looks very good.

to mention that you don't have to actually read the emails to get paid.

SendItOn... New and already paying. Unique setup that lets you choose which offers to send along 
to your referrals.

NetBiz... These guys have been paying for a long time. They a good amount of paid emails.

-Referral Services-

InfoRocket... Get paid $10 for every referral and $5 for everyone your referrals refer. Very 
impressive and still going after all this time.

AmnesiaMemory... $5 to sign up and $5/referral.

MyRewards... $3/referral and $2 for each indirect referral. Could add up quick.

Adsenger... Similar to BePaid but much better.

NetFlip... Paid searching. They've improved quite a bit in the last couple of months.

Soundom... Looks very promising. They pay people to listen to any kind of music they want: CD's, 
MP3's, Windows Media Player files, RealPlayer, etc...
