  • CashWars is offline. According to their site they are looking for funding to continue operations. Review removed.

  • There's a new paid email company out called TheEasyDollar which we are not going to review. Here's why:
    • The guy running it promotes his own directory of get paid programs on every page of the site.
    • The rates are $.02/email plus $.01/email for direct referrals.
    • The website design is fairly low end.

What all of that means is that launching a paid email company is most likely just this guy's way of getting a bunch of free promotion for his website. Unless he somehow manages to interest a huge amount of advertisers (which will be hard to do with the site as it is) virtually no one is going to earn enough to get a check any time in the next couple of years.

Even if the owner really means well (which could easily be the case) the rates are still about the lowest around and anyone that you refer to him is not just getting referred to a paid email program... They're also getting referred to this guys get paid directory where they'll be finding his referral links instead of yours. ;-) When you think about it, it's an amazinly cheap move for a get paid company.

  • If you're looking for a new paid email company... See the May 23rd news below (but only if you're not offended by naughty bits). SS is the newest and most promising paid email company right now.

  • Today is Towel Day! If you're any sort of Douglas Adams fan, get your towel and carry it around with you today. It's a tribute to the now-deceased author. If you've never heard of Douglas Adams... Get a towel and carry it around anyway. Towels are amazingly useful. ;-) More info at the towel day website: www.towelday.org.
  • Newest issue of the ezine is on it's way to an inbox near you. If you're not a subscriber you can see it here
  • SmartReply is back online. ::Que thousands of distant cheering voices:: Don't miss this one... One of the best companies out there right now. (review here)
  • GoThruUs (paid surfing, referring and more) is currently converting points to cash and says they will be emailing members soon to let them know they can request payment. They are still paying $1/referral. (review here)
May 24rd
  • DollarWeb has redesigned and relaunched their paid surfing program. See the updated review for more info. (review here)

  • Your prayers have been answered, you sick puppy. You can now get paid to receive emails containing pictures of naked people. The company is called SexySend. It's still very new (less than 200 members) but we expect it to take off very quickly. All that nudity is definitely going to cause members to rise. (review here)

  • Hasn't been all that much interesting news in the get paid world over the past week. This is a good thing. It's Spring... Go play. :-)
  • Just reviewed a new paid visiting service that is not part of the Create-A-Click network. Sure looks like it though. It's called Hi-Clicks. (review here)
  • The NetBiz review is back online. According to the owner, members should be receiving checks within one to two weeks. They are in the process of a lawsuit against the guy who posted the, apparently, incorrect information about the company at: net-4-biz.com. Interestingly, this information has been recently removed. (review here)

  • CyberRebates has declared bankruptcy. Kinda makes you wonder about their recent affiliate program. When you're losing money on each sale, isn't it normally unwise to launch a generous affiliate program that will bring in an exponentional amount of new sales? (The Get Paid to be Online Page is becoming more and more convinced that, during the 1990's, there must have been actual college courses entitled "how to lose vast quantites of money on the internet in a very short amount of time".
May 16th
  • The paid email poll is finished. You can see the results here.
May 15th

  • For anyone that doesn't already know... CStakes sent their first round of payments. Don't miss this one. (review here)
May 10th
  • TrafficJamit has already gone offline for their first time. Too many spam complaints (as always happens with get paid companies). They plan to go back online soon. Lesson one: Don't host a professional website for $5/month. Speaking of which, if they can guarantee all members with 3 referrals $2000/month, couldn't they guarantee themselves $50-$100/month for professional hosting? Guess not :-)
May 9th
  • Cstakes ($5 for each referral) made their first payments today. One of the best cash referral programs available right now (only SmartReply is looking better at this point). (review here)
May 6th
  • CashSpace is now focusing on the paid email part of their program. Their paid surfing software is out and working but members get free referrals for the paid email program instead of cash for using it. (review here)
