Gomez Peers (formerly Porivo) launched in early 2001. They are a peer computing network which measures the performance of customer websites. They pay members of their network (that's you if you join) to be online while running the Peer software. During idle time the software uses your internet connection to test websites (yes, this means you can get paid while you sleep). Members are paid $.05/day plus $.03/hour for each hour of processing time. Members are only paid for days that they run the software for 2 hours or more. This should be easy to do considering that you can run the software at night. Payments are made monthly to all members with a $5 minimum via PayPal or E-Gold. Porivo is very reliable and all personal data is completely private. Recommended.

Referral Program: $1 for each active referral to the program.

Adbux (re)launched with a new and appealing service on May 28th, 2008. Members can now get paid for clicking ads, signuping up for offers, taking surveys, shopping, searching and more. Different actions pay different amounts based on a 70% revenue share. Members are paid via AlertPay or MoneyBookers.

Referral Program: Members are paid between 50% and 150% for the actions of their referrals.

UniqPaid is one of the better paid signing up programs. They launched in December, 2001 and have been paying ever since. Incentives range from $.05 to $20 for joining an offer. The best part about this one is their low payment minimum of $5 via check, no minumum for payment via PayPal or eGold. $1 bonus for active direct referrals.

Referral Program: Members are paid 10%, 5% and 1% for three levels of referrals with an additional $1 bonus for all referrals that qualify as active.

ClickThru is both a free traffic program (one of the best, in fact, full review of that part of it in the webmaster section) and a very good paid surfing/visiting program. Members can earn up to $1/hour visiting websites at current rates. Cash is usuable to buy products, services, website advertising and gift certificates. Members can also win additional credits by clicking bonus icons while surfing. We suggest this service to anyone. QuizPoints pays members to sign up for both free and trial offers as well as to shop using coupons. Members are paid in points which are redeemable for a variety of cash gift certificates. Referral Program: Members get 10 points for every referral. Referrals becomes a part of your buddy network which is a mini social networking system with optional pics, etc.

SearchCactus pays members $2 to sign up and $.02 for each paid search listing they click on, up to 20 clicks/day. However the paid search part of their program seems to have stopped for the time being. Members can still earn cash by signing up for free offers (around $500 in earnings currently available). Members can request a check once they have $20, or more, in their account.

Milesource gives members frequent flier miles redeemable for tickets from almost any major airline as well as gift certificates and online cash. Members can also redeem their miles for hotel rooms, vacation packages, cruises, video rentals, store merchandise, etc.. You get 1500 miles to sign up, 5 or more miles per website you visit from their "click arcade", 5 or more per email you receive and various miles for shopping using thier directory. Miles never expire. MilesSource has been paying reliably since late 2000.

1percent is a college style rewards program. Anyone can join, however, the focus is on music, partying and travel. Members earn points (called Tokes) for signing up (150-200 Tokes) clicking links (3-25 Tokes/visit) shopping (1-10%, mostly tobacco and party accessories). Tokes can be redeemed for things like travel, party accessories and tobacco related items (bongs and pipes). Exchanges rates for points are fair.
